You can find us on the first floor of Kheya Apartment, which is at 130 Santoshpur Avenue. It is a typical Kolkata neighborhood with lots of trees and people walking to the local markets. Our office and production area is in Flat 1. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when we have a lot of stock, but we have figured out how to use the space well. Working out of an apartment building means we have to be a bit careful about the noise, but the neighbors are mostly used to us by now. We spend most of the day handling the food product orders and making sure everything is logged in the books. It is a very hands-on kind of place. We do not have any polished reception area or big signs. Most of the time, the rooms are just filled with boxes and the smell of whatever we are packing. The staff mostly takes their lunch breaks together and we talk about whatever is happening in Santoshpur. It is a steady way to make a living. The commute can be a bit of a grind when the traffic on the avenue gets heavy, but being in this part of the city is convenient for most of us. We just keep things moving and try to do a decent job with every batch that goes out the door.
