You can find us at 60 F Block- D in New Alipore. This is where our head office is located. New Alipore is a decent part of the city, and being in Block D puts us near a lot of residential houses and other small businesses. Universal Drug House Private Limited has been around for a while. Our daily routine involves a lot of coordination. Because this is the H.O., we spend more time on the phones and handling the logistics of the medicine trade than just selling over a counter. The rooms are filled with filing cabinets and desks where we keep track of all the orders. It isn't a very quiet place because there is always someone coming in or out with a delivery or a question. We have windows that look out onto the street, so we see the neighbors walking by every day. The building is a standard brick structure and we try to keep it organized, though the paperwork tends to pile up by the end of the week. We don't really do much in the way of decoration. It is a functional space meant for work. We have a small area where we keep the essential stock, but most of our time is spent managing the bigger picture of the business. It is a steady job in a steady part of New Alipore, and we just keep at it day after day until the work is finished.
