Pharmachem Traders Pvt. Ltd. is located in New Alipur, over in G Block at number 103. It’s a relatively quiet residential area compared to the rest of the city, which makes for a peaceful place to work. Our office is inside a building that looks like a regular house from the outside. We have a few rooms dedicated to different things—one for the paperwork, one for the samples, and a small space where we take our breaks. We deal with a lot of different chemicals and pharmaceutical supplies, so there are always long lists of names on the desks and invoices being printed out. It’s mostly quiet work, punctuated by the occasional phone call from a supplier or a delivery truck pulling up outside. We don’t have a lot of walk-in traffic, so we can usually just get on with our tasks without much interruption. The team is quite small, and we’ve been working together in this New Alipur spot for quite some time now. We have a small kitchen area where we heat up our lunches and talk about things other than work for a bit. It’s a steady kind of life here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just focus on making sure the orders are correct and the stock is where it needs to be. This place has its quirks, like the squeaky front gate, but it feels right.
