It’s usually pretty hot here in Behrampura, especially around the Gidc area where we are located. Our building is number 4, right near Khodiyal Nagar. It’s mostly industrial around here so you don’t see many trees, just lots of sheds and small factories. We spend most of our day inside dealing with the batches and making sure the inventory is right. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you aren't used to these streets. The workers come in shifts and there is always someone around even late at night. We don't really do much fancy talk, we just focus on the production and getting the boxes ready for the trucks. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we just wait it out, chatting near the gate. It's a plain place with white walls and a lot of steel equipment that needs constant cleaning. The office part is small, just enough space for a few computers and the logs. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and the neighbors are all doing similar stuff. It gets dusty outside because of the construction work nearby. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten quickly so we can get back to the floor. It’s steady work and we don't change how we do things much unless we really have to. It's just a normal day at the plant with the same routine we’ve followed for years now.
