Matmon Pharmaceuticals is located at 42 Ganesh Chandra Avenue. This is right in the heart of the commercial district in Kolkata. The street is always packed with cars, buses, and people moving fast. Our office is in one of those older commercial buildings that have seen a lot of years and different tenants. Inside, it’s a bit cramped with all the boxes and files we have to keep for our records. We handle various medicines and pharmaceutical distributions from here. It is a loud area, so we usually keep the windows shut to block out some of the traffic noise coming from the street below. The lift in the building is one of those old manual ones with the grill gate that you have to pull shut yourself. We often just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. We have a small group of people working here. Everyone has their own desk piled with papers and folders. It’s not the most modern looking place, but it works for what we need to do. We don't have any big advertisements on the walls. Most people who come here are business associates or delivery drivers. We spend the day checking invoices and coordinating with the warehouses. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the day. Ganesh Chandra Avenue is a good spot for business because everything is so central and accessible for the transport of goods.
