You have to walk up to the 4th floor to find us here at 216 on Old China Bazaar Street. It’s a long walk if the stairs feel steep that day, but that’s just how these old buildings are. This part of the city is always crowded, and you can hear the shouting of vendors and the horns of the cars from morning until night. We’ve been operating the agency from this spot for a good while. The rooms are a bit narrow, and we have boxes piled up in the corners because space is always tight. We spend most of our time talking to suppliers or checking on orders that are coming in or going out. It’s a lot of back-and-forth work. Some days are slow, and we just sit and listen to the radio, but other days everyone wants something at the exact same time. We don't have any flashy signs or a modern lobby. It’s just an old-fashioned office where we keep track of things in ledgers and on the computer. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we just use that time to grab a snack. It’s a bit worn out, the paint is peeling in places, but it’s our place and we know where everything is kept. If you get lost in the bazaar, just ask someone for the old building at 216 and they'll usually point you right.
