If you look for 8, Khairu Place, you’ll find us on the second floor. It’s an old building, and the stairs are a bit steep if you aren't used to them. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time. The office is pretty basic, just some desks and a lot of paperwork piled up. We deal with industrial supplies, so there’s always talk about parts and orders going on. It’s not the quietest office because the windows let in all the street noise from below. We usually have the radio playing softly in the corner to drown out some of the traffic. Most of our work involves talking to suppliers and making sure things get sent where they need to go. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. It’s just a place where we get the business side of things handled. Sometimes customers come up to discuss things in person, and we pull up a chair for them and offer some water. We know most of the other people in the building. It’s a bit of a community here. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the slow afternoons. There’s no big corporate vibe here at all. We are just regular people trying to make a living and keeping the business running smoothly. It’s steady work, and we like the location despite the climb up those stairs every day.
