You’ll find us at P-25 Princep Street. This whole neighborhood is famous for motor parts and accessories, so we fit right in with everyone else. The shop has been here for many years. It’s an older building and we occupy a good portion of the ground floor area. We have metal shelves going all the way up to the ceiling, and they are filled with engine parts, cables, and lights. It’s dusty work and we spend a lot of time climbing up and down ladders to find exactly what a customer is looking for. Princep Street is always a mess with cars and bikes parked all over the place. We’ve long since gotten used to the noise and the constant sound of honking. We have a very small staff, mostly just a few guys who have been with us since they were quite young. We don't really do much in the way of advertising or marketing. People just know that if they need a specific part for an old bike or a car, they should probably check with us first. We have a lot of old catalogs that we still use to look up part numbers. Sometimes we just have to match a part by looking at it closely because the markings have rubbed off over time. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We usually stay open until the late evening. The local tea seller comes by twice a day.
