United Mecon Pvt. Ltd. is based at 3 B, 30, Ripon Street. It's an old building, but it has character. We’ve been operating from here for a good while. Ripon Street is always busy, so there’s never a dull moment outside our windows. Inside, it’s mostly just us working through the daily tasks. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a coffee machine that makes lattes. Just a kettle and some desks. We handle the engineering side of things. It involves a lot of counting, measuring, and checking. Sometimes we get things wrong and have to start over, but that’s just part of the process. We aren't interested in using big words to describe what we do. We just do it. Most of our days are spent on the phone or looking at drawings. It gets loud sometimes when the street traffic picks up. We’ve thought about moving to a quieter spot, but Ripon Street feels like home now. The people here are straightforward. We don’t go in for those long corporate lunches. We usually just grab something quick from the stall nearby. United Mecon is just a group of people trying to do a decent job every day. We’ve got our routine down, and it works for us. If you’re ever on Ripon Street, you’ll see our door at number 30. We’re usually there until late in the evening most days of the week. It's a long day but we're used to it.
