A Reputed Engineering Construction House

We have turned the main room into a workspace with some drafting tables and computers. The lane outside is pretty narrow, so parking can be a bit of a nightmare for visitors. We do a lot of construction management and engineering design from this small space. Kolkata is a city that always feels like it’s under construction, so there is always something for us to look at. We spend a lot of our time on phone calls with site supervisors and different suppliers. The flat is usually cluttered with site helmets, boots, and rolls of drawings. It’s not a fancy corporate environment by any means. We mostly just drink a lot of tea and try to figure out technical problems on our projects. Sometimes the neighbors in Paramount Cottage complain if we have too many people coming and going, so we try to keep things quiet. It’s just a small group of us doing engineering work and trying to make a living in the city. We’ve been here for a while and know the area very well.
