We are based at No. 41 Chowringhee Road. It’s a well-known part of town, so getting here isn't usually an issue for anyone. We’ve been operating out of this office for a while now. Fives Stein India Projects is basically a group of us working on various project details and technical stuff. The office isn't anything too crazy, just desks, computers, and a lot of files. Chowringhee is always loud and busy outside, but once you step inside, it’s a bit quieter. We deal with a lot of engineering and project management tasks throughout the day. It’s mostly phone calls and looking at drawings. Sometimes the elevators in the building take forever, which is a bit of a pain when you're in a hurry. We eat lunch at the local spots nearby. There are plenty of places around here. It’s a solid place to work. We don't really do much in the way of decoration; it’s a functional space for professional work. We focus on getting the project numbers right and making sure the timelines are met. It’s a lot of coordination between different teams. The view of the street from the window is okay, but we are usually too busy to look out. It’s just our daily routine here at number 41, trying to get things finished before the weekend starts. Sometimes the office stays open late when a big project is nearing the deadline.
