United Engineers (Eastern) Corpn. is based at 8, Camac Street. We are located in the Shantiniketan building, specifically in suites 2 and 3 on the 10th floor. We have been in this location for many years, and we have seen Camac Street transform into the busy hub it is today. Our office is high up, which gives us a bit of a break from the constant noise of the traffic below. We are an engineering company, but we don't have that polished corporate feel. Our workspace is filled with old filing cabinets and stacks of technical blueprints. Many of our dedicated staff have been with us since they started their careers. We handle a variety of engineering projects, mostly focusing on the practical side of things. There is no fancy marketing department here. We just focus on the technical details and making sure our projects stay on track. It is a lot of hard work, involving many hours of calculations and coordination. Big claims about being the best aren't our thing. We just try to do our jobs and finish the projects on time. Being on the 10th floor feels like being in a different world sometimes. It is where we do all our planning and problem-solving. This is just a traditional engineering firm that values getting the work done right. We have been here a long time and we like the sense of history in this office. Shantiniketan has been a reliable home for our operations for many decades.
