United Engineering

We are based at Ambika Mukherjee Road in the Natagarh section of Sodepur. Our workshop is right across from Ukil Barir More, which most people around here know well. We do engineering work, mostly making small parts or doing repairs for people. It is a very hands-on kind of business. The shop is full of old machines and tools that we’ve used for a long time. It isn't a fancy place with air conditioning or a lobby. You just walk in and we’re there working. We have been a part of the Sodepur neighborhood for many years now. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us forever. We don't really use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just fix things and try to be useful. The road outside can get quite messy when it rains, but we don't let that stop us. We’re just regular people working hard to earn a living. We aren't interested in being some giant company with hundreds of employees. We like the small scale of things here. It allows us to know everyone who walks through the door. If you have a part that needs fixing or something you need made, just bring it over to Ambika Mukherjee Road. We will take a look and see what we can do. It’s simple, honest work that we take seriously.
