You will find Tukai Idly Doda right at the Baguiati Crossing. We are on the ground floor on Baguiati Main Road. It is a very busy spot in Kolkata, especially with all the traffic coming through the crossing. We have been here for some time now, just serving the people who pass by. The area is always loud and full of life, which we have gotten used to. Being in Baguihati means we see all sorts of neighbors and commuters every single day. Our space isn't anything fancy or polished. It is just a regular shop where we do our work. We started this because we wanted a place of our own in this part of town. Kolkata is a big city, but this little corner of Baguiati feels like our own small world. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It is just honest work. Most people know us because they walk past the crossing to get to the bus or their homes. We open up early and stay until the work is finished. It’s a practical way to live. We handle everything ourselves, from cleaning up to talking to anyone who stops in. There is no corporate vibe here at all. Just us at Tukai Idly Doda, doing our daily work right on the main road.
