We operate out of 48/4 Rishi Arabinda Sarani. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the name, but people around here just know us as the pharmacy on the corner. The building is one of those older structures that has seen better days, but it works for what we need. We spend our mornings checking the latest shipments. It gets a bit dusty with all the boxes, but we try to keep the front area clean for the customers. We don’t have a lot of staff, so everyone does a bit of everything. One minute you're counting pills and the next you're sweeping the floor. That’s just how it goes in a small place like this. The street outside, Rishi Arabinda Sarani, is always full of people heading to work or the market. We see a lot of the same people every day. We don't use any fancy software to track things, just some notebooks and a basic computer. It’s not a high-tech operation. We just focus on getting the medicines right. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use the emergency lights, but we stay open. People need their supplies regardless of the power. It’s a quiet sort of work, very steady. We like being part of this neighborhood and knowing our neighbors. We just keep the routine going because it works for everyone involved.
