Our place is out in Village Gopi Nagar, near the Haripal Railway Station. We fall under the Kamarchandi Post and Haripal Police Station in the Hoogly district. It is a bit away from the main city buzz, which works out okay for us. Being near the station is very handy for getting things moved around without too much trouble. We are a small pharmaceutical setup that services the local area and some of the villages beyond. The work is mostly manual—unloading heavy crates, checking labels, and packing up boxes for the next delivery trip. It can be a bit dusty out here during the summer, and the roads are not always the best after the rain, but we make it work somehow. We have been part of the Gopi Nagar community for a long time now. Our building is not anything fancy or modern, just a functional space for medicine storage and distribution. We do not have a big website or a bunch of advertisements in the papers. Most people find out about us through word of mouth or because they see us when they are near the railway tracks. It is a quiet life for the most part, except for when the trains go by and rattle the windows. We take pride in just doing the job and making sure the local clinics get their medicine supplies on time. It is a lot of hard work.
