Our office is located at 1432 Ps Road in Dumdum. If you know Kolkata, you know that this part of town is always moving. There is a lot of noise from the street, but we’ve gotten used to it over time. We handle HR stuff, which basically means we spend our whole day on the phone or answering emails from people looking for a start. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here. We don't have any of those modern glass partitions or expensive chairs. It’s just sturdy wooden desks and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. We started this because we knew the area and wanted to stay local. Most of the staff lives just a short bus ride away. On rainy days, the road outside gets a bit messy, but we still make it in. We aren't interested in sounding like a big multinational. We’re just a small team trying to make things work for the people who walk through our door. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon and talk about how the city is changing. It’s a regular job in a regular part of Kolkata. Nothing more, nothing less. We don't have a fancy lobby, so people usually just walk right in and find us at our desks. It’s a bit cramped when it gets busy, but we manage.
