If you find yourself on Ezra Street, you’ll see Todi Corner, and that’s where Decibel Exim Pvt. Ltd. operates from room 1055. It’s a crowded area, usually filled with people selling all sorts of things on the sidewalk. Our space is up there among many other small businesses. We deal with import and export stuff, mostly focusing on the details that people usually find boring. There are stacks of folders everywhere because we still like having things on paper. It helps us keep track of everything without relying only on the computer screen. The lighting in the hallway is a bit dim, but our office is bright enough. We drink a lot of coffee while we sort through shipping manifests. It’s not a big corporate setup. It's just us and our phones. The street noise outside is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. We’ve been here long enough that the tea stall guy knows exactly what we want. We handle the logistical side of trade, making sure items get from point A to point B without too much trouble. It takes a lot of patience. Some days are slower than others, but there is always something to file or a person to call. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It is a bit cramped but it feels right for us.
