Nat Exim

Our place, Nat Exim, is located at No. 49B Jayashree Nagar in the Dakshineswar area. It’s a nice part of town, pretty close to the temple so it’s always got a certain feel to it. We handle a bit of export and import stuff from this office. It’s a small setup. I usually have tea around eleven and start going through the shipping manifests. The house number 49B is easy to find if you’re familiar with Jayashree Nagar. We don't have many employees, just a couple of us making sure the orders are correct. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is good for focusing. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we manage. We aren't doing anything massive, just steady business. We’ve lived and worked around Dakshineswar for a long time. It’s a local business through and through. We keep our records in big binders and on an old desktop. It’s not high-tech, but it works for what we need to do. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or checking on transport. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just try to get the goods where they need to go and hope the weather stays clear for the shipments. It’s a simple life here at the office. We usually wrap things up by six unless there is a late shipment arrival that needs our attention. It keeps us on our toes without being too stressful.
