Prime Impex Limited

Prime Impex Limited is based out of 116/3 Ramkrishna Nagar. We are right in the heart of Thakurpukur. It’s a crowded area but we like it that way. We do import and export work. Most of our time is spent looking at shipping documents and talking to customs people. The office is full of cardboard boxes and old ledgers. We don’t have a fancy lounge for visitors. There are just a couple of plastic stools if you need to sit down. We’ve been here for a long time and the building shows its age. The roof leaks a little when it rains really hard. We just put a bucket under it and keep working. We don't have any corporate slogans or anything like that. We just try to make sure the goods get where they are going on time. It involves a lot of waiting around for phone calls. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the busy seasons. The staff is just a few of us who know the business well. We don’t wear suits or ties. It’s too hot for that anyway. We know the local rickshaw pullers who help us move small parcels. It’s a very local operation. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a big office. We just want to do our jobs and go home to our families. Some days the paperwork is a mountain, but we just chip away at it until it's gone.
