Tip Top Parlour

Tip Top Parlour has been a part of Italgacha More for a good while. You can find us at 96, Vivekananda Sarani in Kolkata. It’s a busy corner of the city, and we see a lot of people passing by our door every day. We’re not a huge chain or anything, just a local spot where you can get your hair cut or your beard trimmed without any fuss. The shop is small and simple. We have a couple of chairs and some mirrors, and that’s about it. We don’t think you need much more than that to do a decent job. Most of our guys have been coming to us for years. They know us, and we know exactly how they like their hair done. It’s a bit noisy outside because of the traffic at the More, but inside it’s just the sound of scissors and the radio playing in the corner. We keep things pretty straightforward here. No fancy packages or confusing menus. You just tell us what you want, and we do it. Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait on holidays, but people don’t seem to mind sitting and chatting for a bit. It’s a friendly atmosphere. We try to keep the floor swept and the tools clean between every visitor. That’s really the most important thing for us.
