Spicky Parlour

Spicky Parlour is found at 140, B T Road, near the ISI campus in Kolkata - 700108. We are also quite close to the old Sonali Cinema Hall, which everyone around here knows. Our place is a bit of a mix. We get students from the institute and also families from the local housing blocks. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit in what we need. We have the mirrors lined up along one wall and a small bench for people to wait on. The noise from B T Road is constant, but you get used to it after a while. I chose this name because it sounded a bit more modern, but we are still just a local parlour. We do haircuts, styling, and some basic grooming. Nothing too over the top. The equipment we use is reliable and we take care of it. On weekends, the place is full of young guys looking for a new look before they go out. We also get older folks who just want their usual trim. It’s a good mix. Sometimes the floor is so full of hair you can barely see the tiles, but we sweep it up as often as we can. We don't have a big marketing budget. Our name mostly spreads by word of mouth in this part of town. It’s a simple, hardworking shop.
