Eastern Dairy

Down in Kidderpore, on Monilal Banerjee Road, you’ll find our place at 11/B. It’s a tight street, typical for this part of the city, and things can get pretty crowded during the middle of the day. Eastern Dairy isn’t a massive factory, just a local spot where we handle our daily business. The building has that old Kidderpore character, with high ceilings and thick walls that stay a bit cooler than the street outside. We deal with a lot of local shops and people from the neighborhood. Most mornings start with the sound of crates being moved around. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You walk in and it’s straight to the work area. The desks are covered in notebooks because we still like to write things down. It’s a lot of coordinating with the delivery guys and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the traffic on the road makes things run late, but we just deal with it as it happens. We’ve known some of our customers for years, and they often stop by just to say hello while they’re out. It’s a bit of a noisy life, with the sounds of the port and the city all around us, but it suits us fine. We just keep moving and do our part.
