Green Ways Footwear

We are located at No. 46 Tiljala Lane. It’s a small street and sometimes it’s hard for people to find us if they aren’t from this part of town. We make shoes and sandals in this space. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, there are piles of soles and uppers waiting to be put together by the guys. We have a few sewing machines that make a lot of noise throughout the afternoon. It gets pretty cramped when we have a lot of orders to fill at once. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist at the door. Usually, someone just shouts from the back if there is a knock. The floor is concrete and it stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We’ve been at this location for many years now. Tiljala is a busy neighborhood with a lot of small shops like ours. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people know us because they walk past every day or they know someone who works here. It’s just a straightforward operation. We make the footwear, box it up, and send it out. Rain can be a problem because the lane gets huge puddles, making it tricky to move the heavy cartons. We just deal with it and keep the work going every single day.
