At 113 Mondol Para Road in Mahamayapur, Garia, things are always moving. Thermocool Engineering Private Limited has been based here for a while, right in the thick of the neighborhood. It’s a busy street, and we are situated right there among the local shops and the houses. The workshop has that specific smell of metal and oil that stays on your clothes long after you leave. We aren't a massive corporation with glass walls and air conditioning; it’s more of a place where you see the actual work happening as soon as you step inside. The ceiling fans are always spinning to keep the air moving, but it still gets pretty stuffy in the humid months. Most of the guys have been with us for years, so we all know how the other person works without having to say much at all. We spend our days dealing with various engineering tasks, fixing things, and putting components together. It can be tedious sometimes, but it’s what we know how to do. Lunch is usually a quick affair, often eaten right at the workbenches while we talk about the weekend. The traffic on Mondol Para Road can be a real nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get the shipping trucks out as early as possible. There is no script for how we talk to people.
