Electro Magnetic Engineering

Our place is at 25/1 Jogendra Basak Road, not too far from Baranagar. It’s an old area and our building fits right in. We work with electromagnetic components, which sounds a bit more complicated than it actually is once you get used to it. It’s a lot of winding coils, checking circuits, and making sure the magnets are doing what they are supposed to. The workbenches are always cluttered with copper wire and various testing meters. We’ve been doing this for a long time. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to a heavy machine shop, but it requires a lot of focus. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address and the name. People who need our specific type of engineering usually find us through word of mouth. The road outside can get narrow and crowded with pedestrians, so we usually get our supplies delivered early. Inside, it’s mostly just the hum of the equipment. We don’t have a sales team or anything like that. If the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. Some of the equipment we use is pretty old, but it’s reliable and we know how to calibrate it. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure every piece that leaves the door is right. We don't rush things because that’s how mistakes happen in this line of work. It takes time to get things exactly where they need to be.
