Konark Engineering

Our place is near Dariyahat. It’s an area that stays pretty busy throughout the day. The shop is easy to find if you know the landmark. Inside, you’ll find the usual tools and parts scattered around. It’s an engineering shop, so it’s never going to be perfectly clean. We deal with the usual mechanical stuff. There’s a bit of a rhythm to the day, starting with the first cup of tea and checking what needs fixing first. The noise from the street spills inside, but after a while, you don't even notice the horns or the people shouting. We aren't big on decorations or anything like that. The walls have some old calendars and maybe a few notes scribbled on them. It’s a practical space. We’ve spent many years in this location, so we know exactly where every tool is kept, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. The light isn't always the best in the back, but we have some heavy-duty lamps for the detailed work. It’s just a small group of us here. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. Most people just walk in because they saw us from the road or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us in Dariyahat. We just get the jobs done and go home when the sun sets.
