Jupiter Engineering Works

Jupiter Engineering Works is down at No. 362/2 Roy Bahadur Road. It’s a busy street and we’ve been tucked away here for quite a while. The building is a bit cramped, especially when we have a lot of parts delivered at once. We do various types of engineering work, mostly involving lathes and milling machines that have been around as long as I have. There is always a smell of cutting oil in the air, which you stop noticing after the first ten minutes. We don’t have any fancy uniforms; we just wear what’s comfortable and doesn't mind getting a bit dirty. The neighborhood around Roy Bahadur Road is always loud with traffic and people shouting, but it feels like home to us. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit around and wait, which gives us time to catch up on the local news. We don't have a big sales pitch for anyone. People come to us because they have something that needs making or fixing, and they know we’re here at 362/2. It’s a simple way to run a shop, but it has worked for us so far. We just take one job at a time and try to get it done properly. There isn't much more to it than that. Most of our day is just spent at the machines or writing down measurements on scrap pieces of paper.
