The Women Wear

We are located at 20H Ballygunge Station Road, right near the station and Fern Place. Gariahat is a busy area, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. Our shop is quite close to the tracks, so you can hear the trains passing by throughout the day. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the locals know us pretty well. It’s not a massive place, so we have to be smart about where we put everything. Sometimes the racks get a bit crowded when new stock arrives. We don't have a fancy interior designer. We just put up some shelves where they fit and started working. Most of our day is spent helping people who walk in or sorting through new items. It’s a very hands-on job. We don’t use a lot of technology, mostly just a pen and a notebook to keep track of things. Sometimes we get a bit behind on the dusting, but the clothes are always looked after carefully. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but once people find us, they usually come back. We aren't trying to be some high-end boutique. It’s just a store for everyday people. The neighbors at Fern Place are friendly, and we all kind of look out for each other. It’s a good little corner of the city to be in, even when it gets hectic. We enjoy the pace here.
