Thar Marbles

We've been here at 86/2A Topsia Road for quite a while now. Most people know us because we're right by the Park Circus Connector and the E.M. Byepass. It gets pretty noisy with all the traffic rushing past, but we’re used to it. We deal with marbles mostly. The yard is usually full of slabs leaning against each other. It's a lot of work moving them around when someone wants to see a specific pattern. My clothes usually end up covered in white dust by lunch. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the trucks show up late and everything gets a bit messy. People come in from all over the city because we’re easy to find. We don’t have a big fancy showroom with air conditioning. It’s just us and the stone. Sometimes it rains and we have to cover everything up quick. We handle the lifting and the cutting right here. It’s hard work, especially in the heat. We get all kinds of folks looking for stuff for their houses. Some know exactly what they want and others just walk around for an hour looking at the veins in the marble. We just let them do their thing. If you're coming from the bypass, you just look for the sign near the corner. It's not a complicated setup. We just keep the inventory moving and try to make sure the measurements are right so nobody gets a piece that doesn't fit.
