Our office is in Sakuntala Park, specifically 4 / 3 K / 341 in the Sarsuna Satellite Township area. Kolkata is a big city, but this part feels a bit more like a community. We’ve been based here for some time now. The building is part of the township, so it has that residential feel to it. It’s not one of those tall glass towers you see in the IT parks. We prefer it this way. It’s quieter, and you can actually hear the birds sometimes in the morning. We have a few rooms filled with equipment and computers. It gets a little cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we manage. There is a small park nearby where some of us go for a walk when the weather isn’t too muggy. Getting here can be a bit of a trek if you aren't living in the south part of the city. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and keep our lunch boxes. The table there is where most of the actual talking happens, not in the meetings. It’s a very plain setup, just some desks and chairs we’ve had for years. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want a place where we can focus and do our jobs without too much fuss. It’s worked out well for us so far in this corner of Kolkata. We just take it day by day.
