Our place is located out in New Town, right on Hatiara Road in the Helabottala area. It’s a part of town that’s growing fast, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same over the years. We do a lot of industrial work here. It’s not the quietest spot to be, especially with the trucks coming and going all day on the main road. The workshop gets pretty dusty, but we try to keep things organized so we can find the tools we need. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless the weather is acting up. We spend most of our time focused on the fabrication side of things. It’s a lot of metal, heat, and making sure measurements are right. We aren't big on meetings or long talks. Usually, we just look at the drawings and get started. If someone has a question, they just shout across the floor. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We’ve seen other shops open and close around Hatiara Road, but we just keep doing what we know. The coffee machine in the breakroom is probably the most used thing here besides the welding gear. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big reception area or anything. You just walk in and someone will be around to help out. We’re just here to work and get the orders out.
