Our workshop is tucked away at 1/4E Khangendra Chatterjee Road. It’s one of those old parts of the city where the streets are narrow and you have to know exactly where you’re going or you’ll drive right past us. We’ve been operating as Techno Engineers for a long time, mostly doing small repair jobs and some custom metal work when people bring it in. The building is old, and the walls have seen better days, but the machines inside still work just fine. We have a couple of old lathes that have been with us since the start. It gets pretty loud once we get everything running in the morning. Usually, the first thing we do is clear the space and get the tea going. There’s a lot of grease and oil around, so we don't bother with fancy furniture. Most of our desks are just old wooden tables covered in drawings and spare parts. Khangendra Chatterjee Road can get really flooded when the monsoon hits, which makes getting work done a bit of a challenge some days, but we manage. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees, just a small crew who knows their way around an engine. We don’t have a website or anything like that, mostly just word of mouth from people in the neighborhood who need something fixed. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
