Tara Engineering Works

Down on Budge Budge Trunk Road, out near P.O.-Sarangabad, is where Tara Engineering Works is located. It’s a busy road, lots of trucks and buses passing by all the time. Our workshop isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s just a sturdy building where we keep our tools and parts. Most days are spent working on whatever comes in, usually involving a lot of grease and metal. The floor is concrete and has some stains, but that’s expected in engineering. We’ve got a small office space partitioned off where it’s a bit quieter, but you can still hear the noise from the road. The air is often heavy with the smell of oil and welding. It’s a local operation, and we’ve been part of the Sarangabad community for a good while. People around here know where to find us. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors. It’s a bit messy, and there’s always something that needs fixing, but we like it that way. We aren't trying to be the biggest place on the trunk road. We just want to do the work that’s in front of us and go home. Usually, we’re tired by the end of the day, but it’s a good kind of tired that comes from a full day of actual labor. We'll be here tomorrow morning too.
