Tanisha Fashion

Tanisha Fashion is our small business located in the Lake Town area, specifically near Kalindi. It’s a lively part of the city to be in, and there is always something happening outside our window. We have a small shop floor where we display what we’ve been working on lately. It’s not a huge collection, but it’s all stuff we’ve put time into. We are just local people trying to provide for our families by doing what we know. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be careful about how we use the space. We keep the stock in the back and bring things out as needed. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by the light from the door, but we manage. Lake Town has changed a lot over the years, but our little corner has stayed mostly the same. We know the other shop owners on the block and we all look out for each other. It’s a simple arrangement. We don't have fancy brochures or a website that looks like a magazine. We just have our name on the board and a door that’s usually open. If you are in Kalindi, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times without thinking much about it. We’re just here, doing our daily bit. The evening rush is usually the hardest part of the day but we like seeing the familiar faces.
