Our shop is tucked away at 7 B Park Lane, right behind the main hustle of Park Street. It’s a bit quieter back here, which we actually prefer. You have to look for the sign because we aren't right on the main road. The space is filled with all sorts of things we’ve collected over the years. It’s a designer spot, but don't expect anything too polished. We have pins all over the floor and fabric draped over every available chair. It’s a working studio through and through. We spend hours sketching and then trying to make those sketches actually work in real life. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it right. We don't have a big staff, so whoever is around helps with everything. That might mean answering the phone or sweeping up at the end of the day. The building is old and has some quirks, like windows that stick when it’s humid. We’ve thought about moving, but we like being near Park Street. There’s a certain energy to this area that keeps us going. Most of our clients find us by word of mouth. We don't do much advertising. We just focus on the pieces we're making and try to stay busy. It’s a small, slightly messy, but very active place where we put in the hours every day. It's just us and our sewing machines, trying to get things done right before the weekend hits.
