Synthesis Placement & Consultant

Our office is at 31 Regent Colony here in Kolkata. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels a bit different than working in a big office park. The house is a typical two-story building and we use a portion of it for the consultancy work. There’s a small garden out front that’s mostly overgrown because nobody has the time to prune it. Inside, we’ve got a few desks pushed together and some filing cabinets that are overflowing with job applications. The walls have a few old calendars hanging on them. Most of our day is spent answering emails and talking to candidates who come in for a chat. It’s usually pretty quiet on our street, except when the school bus drops kids off nearby. We’ve been at this address for a while and have gotten to know the people living around us. It’s not a high-tech setup. We use some old computers and a printer that jams at least once a day. We don’t wear suits or anything like that; it’s a very casual environment. People come in, sit on the plastic chairs, and we talk about what kind of work they’re looking for. It’s a straightforward process without any hidden layers. The tea guy comes by around noon, and that’s usually the highlight of the morning.
