Swastik Engineers

Swastik Engineers has been based on Ganesh Chandra Avenue for quite a long time. It’s one of those old streets where there’s always something going on, from dawn until well after dark. Our shop is just one of many in this row, but we’ve carved out our own little corner here. We do a lot of mechanical and repair work for the local industries. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil or metal shavings, but that’s just the nature of what we do every day. It’s a busy road, so there’s a constant hum of engines and horns outside our door. We have a small team of mechanics and engineers who know their way around a toolbox. We don't have a big marketing department or a fancy website to show off. Most people find us because they’ve been coming here for years or their father used to come here back in the day. We take on all sorts of jobs, some big and some very small, depending on what walks through the door. The office part is just a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and answer the phone when it rings. It gets very hot in the summer, but we keep the old fans going. We don't talk much while we're working; we just get on with the task. Ganesh Chandra Avenue is a good place to be because everything you need is within walking distance. We enjoy being part of the local trade. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy.
