Sushil Garments

We have been here at Deshbandhu Nagar for quite a while now. The shop, Sushil Garments, is right on the station road in Agarpara, so it gets pretty busy when the trains come in. Most days, we are just opening up early and getting things ready for the people walking by on their way to work. It is not a very big place, just enough to keep the clothes we sell. We have all sorts of stuff, mostly things people need for their daily lives. Living and working in Kolkata-110 means dealing with the heat and the crowds, but that is just how it is here. Sometimes the fans don't work right, or the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic near the station, which makes things a bit slow. We try to keep the racks organized, but customers move things around, and by the evening, it usually looks like a mess. My family helps out when it gets crowded. It is a simple life running a garment shop in this part of Agarpara. People stop in to chat even if they aren't buying anything. We know most of the faces around here. It feels good being part of the local market. The address is 4 Deshbandhu Nagar, right there on the main road. If you are walking from the station, you can't really miss us. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, making sure there is enough stock for whoever walks through the door next. We have some old wooden stools for people to sit.
