You can find Supriti Garments at 55/2A Ramkrishna Sarani in Behala, right near the Islamia Math. It’s a familiar spot for the people living nearby who need some quick shopping done. We started this place because we wanted to have a small business of our own in the neighborhood. We stock a bit of everything when it comes to clothes, mostly daily wear that people actually use. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights and music; it’s just a regular shop with shelves full of folded garments. Sometimes the piles get a bit messy when customers are looking through them, but we straighten them up eventually. We know many of our customers by name because they live just a few houses down. It’s nice to have that connection. We open up every morning and keep the doors open until late evening. The area around Ramkrishna Sarani is usually quite lively, and we like being part of that energy. We don’t spend much time on decorations or anything like that. We just focus on keeping enough stock so people can find what they need. If we don’t have a size, we try to get it in the next time the supplier comes by. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. We’ve been here for a while and don’t plan on going anywhere else.
