Sunil and Nisar started this firm on B.N. Ghosal Road in Belgheria. The office is at 20/1, and it’s a fairly modest setup. We don't have a lot of space, but we have enough for our computers and the stacks of paper that seem to grow every month. Being in Belgheria means we serve a lot of local shops and small businesses around here. We handle their accounts and make sure they are following all the tax rules. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s necessary. We don't wear suits every day unless there is a very important meeting. Usually, it’s just casual clothes and a lot of focus on the spreadsheets. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy sign outside. Most people find us because they live nearby or their cousin recommended us. We spend a lot of time on the phone explaining tax laws to people who find them confusing. We try to be helpful without being too formal about it. There’s no corporate ladder here; it’s just a few of us working together to get the filings done on time. The office can get a bit hot in the afternoons, but the tea is always hot too. We just keep things simple and keep moving forward with the work we have in front of us.
