Srinjan Manna & Co.

You can find Srinjan Manna & Co. over at the Old Cit Building on Suresh Chandra Banerjee Road. We are in Block 6, specifically Flat 2. It’s one of those older buildings in Beleghata that has a lot of character, though the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. Being on the main road means there is always a lot of noise from the buses and the local market. We’ve been in this flat for a while now, and it’s definitely starting to feel a bit small for all the work we do. There are stacks of folders on almost every surface, and we have to be careful not to trip over the computer cables. It’s just a few of us here, and we usually have some tea going in the small kitchen area. The windows are old and rattle a bit when a heavy truck goes by, but we don't mind it much anymore. We don't really have a formal way of doing things. We just show up, look at what needs to be filed or finished, and get to it. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs if you aren't used to it. We spend most of our time looking at paperwork and talking on the phone. It isn't a flashy setup by any means, but it serves us well enough for what we need to accomplish each day here in Kolkata.
