Our firm is Ahmed & Mukherjee Ca Firm. We are located at 5, M M Dutta Road, in the Kali Pore area of Budge Budge, Kolkata 700 137. It’s a small office where we handle people’s taxes and accounting. We aren't like those big firms in the middle of the city. We prefer being here in Budge Budge. It’s a bit more relaxed and we know everyone on the street. M M Dutta Road is where we’ve been for quite a few years now. The office is filled with stacks of paper and old folders. We don’t have a fancy digital system for everything; we still like to write things down sometimes. It’s just how we learned to do it. There are just a few of us here. We don't have a big marketing plan or a polished way of talking. We just speak plainly with the people who come in. Most of our clients are local shopkeepers or families from around Kali Pore. We try to be honest and do the work correctly. It’s not glamorous, but it’s important work. Sometimes we stay late when it’s tax season, and the office gets a bit crowded with all the files. We just keep our heads down and get through the pile. It’s a steady way to make a living and we like the people we meet. We are just a regular neighborhood office.
