Manas Mukherjee & Co

Our office, Manas Mukherjee & Co, is located at 42/1, Dum Dum Rd in Kolkata. It’s a pretty easy place to find if you are familiar with the main road. The traffic outside can be quite loud, especially during the morning rush when everyone is trying to get somewhere. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, though we always have the radio or the fan going in the background. Manas has been working from this spot for a good number of years. It’s a straightforward setup. We have shelves filled with ledgers and folders that have been there since we opened. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the day-to-day tasks to worry about that. Being on Dum Dum Rd means we see a lot of people passing by. Some stop in just to ask for directions, while others are coming to see us for help with their taxes or business papers. We don't have a big reception desk or fancy coffee machines. Usually, we just offer a glass of water or a quick cup of tea from the stall down the street. It’s just a small local firm trying to keep things organized for the people who trust us. We take things one day at a time, making sure the entries are right and the deadlines are met without making a big fuss about it. We just keep our heads down and work because that is what needs doing.
