You can find Singhi & Co. over on New Tangra Road in Kolkata. We are actually sharing space with Ruby Interiors at number 11. It is an interesting arrangement, being surrounded by interior design stuff while we do our own work. Tangra is an area with a lot of character, known for its old buildings and busy streets. The office isn't very big, but we make it work. There is usually the smell of sawdust or paint from the interior work happening nearby. We have our own corner where we keep our books and files. It’s a practical setup for us. We don't need a lot of room, just a place to sit and focus. The traffic on New Tangra Road can be quite loud, with horns honking all day long. We have gotten used to the noise over the years. Most of our clients are locals who know where to find us. We don't have a big flashy sign out front. We just share the entrance with the interior shop. It’s a humble way to run a business. We spend our mornings catching up on paperwork and the afternoons meeting with people. It feels like being part of a small community. We drink chai from the stall across the street. Life here is simple and we just take things one day at a time. It is a solid place to be based in Kolkata. We like the neighborhood.
