S B Chakravorty & Co has its office at 510/1 Jawpur Road. We’ve been in this part of Kolkata, 700074, for quite some time now. The building is older and the road outside is always full of activity. You can hear the sounds of the street all day long while we work. It’s a small firm, mostly just focused on the paperwork and files that come through our door. We don't have a fancy reception area or glass partitions. It’s more about the wooden desks and the stacks of documents that need looking at. Most of the people who come to us are local business owners from around Jawpur Road. We have a steady routine here. We start in the morning, handle the various tasks, and take a break when the tea guy comes around. It’s a very practical sort of place. We don't use a lot of big words or try to sound more important than we are. The work is mostly about being careful with details and making sure everything is filed correctly.
