Our office is in Chaya Apartment, specifically Flat No A1 at 40 Ambagan Road. If you’re looking for us, we are right behind the Gas Godown Goli, which is usually how people find their way here in Kolkata-700028. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but that makes it quieter than being right on the main thoroughfare. Subhas Sarkar & Co has been running out of this flat for some time. It’s a lived-in space with plenty of books and papers everywhere. We didn’t want a big corporate office because this feels more personal and manageable for the team. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea, and the balcony gives us a bit of fresh air when things get hectic. Dealing with the daily business from a residential apartment keeps us grounded. We don't have a big sign outside, just the name on the directory. It’s a very simple setup where the focus is on getting the work done rather than looking important. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the hallway, and it just adds to the local atmosphere. We’ve gotten used to the quirks of the building over the years. We handle all our professional commitments with a steady hand, focusing on the details that matter. It’s a decent place to work, and we like being part of the community here on Ambagan Road. It’s a quiet life but we stay very busy.
