Upasana Infusion Pvt. Ltd. is located right at No. 19 Strand Road. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s one of the oldest and busiest areas near the river. The building we are in has that old Kolkata feel to it, with thick walls and high ceilings. We work with medical infusions, so we have to be quite careful about how we handle our stock and the storage. The road outside is always full of heavy trucks and handcarts, which makes for a lot of noise throughout the day. We’ve gotten used to the sound of the traffic and the shouting of the loaders. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, but we stay busy with the technical side of things and the constant stream of deliveries. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. It’s mostly just desks, shelves, and people working on ledgers or computers. We spend a lot of time making sure the logistics are right because getting things in and out of Strand Road can be a real headache if you don't time it properly. Sometimes we stand by the window and watch the chaos on the street for a minute before getting back to work. It’s hard work, and the humidity can be tough, but it’s what we do. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea sellers know us and the building security knows our routine.
