We are located at Fd-60/1 in Salt Lake, Kolkata, 106. We operate out of a space that is care of Mrs. P. Bhowmick. It’s a quiet residential block, which makes for a peaceful place to work compared to the middle of the city. Ssi Management Consultants isn't a giant firm with a lobby and a fountain. It’s more of a home-office feel where we handle business and management tasks. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and helping people figure out how to run their businesses better. It is mostly just a few of us sitting around a large table with our laptops. We don't have a fancy dress code; we just wear what is comfortable for the weather. Salt Lake is a nice area, and we often take a walk during lunch to clear our heads. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it's just a delivery or a neighbor, but we don't mind the interruptions. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporate entity. We just provide practical advice and help with the boring bits of management that other people don't want to do. It's about being reliable and showing up every day to get the work done. We’ve been in this spot for a while and have a good relationship with the people around us. It’s a simple, honest way to run a consultancy, focusing on the work itself rather than how we look to the outside world.
