Sriniwas Trading Co.

If you walk down Nepal Saha Lane, you will eventually find us at 25/2. It is one of those narrow streets where the buildings are close together and everyone knows what is going on. Sriniwas Trading Co. has been based in this small space for quite a few years now. It is not a shiny new corporate office, just a practical place where we keep our records and whatever stock we have on hand. The front door has a habit of sticking when the weather gets damp, and we always say we will fix it but then we get busy with something else. Most of our day is spent handling phone calls and talking to the people who drop by the shop. We are not trying to be a giant company. We just want to get our work done properly and go home at the end of the day. The lane gets very crowded in the late afternoon, so we try to get all our heavy lifting and shipping done early in the morning when it is quieter. There is a small tea stall just a few doors down where we usually go for a break. It is a very local way of doing things. We do not have a website or any social media pages to look after. People just know we are here because we have been here so long. It is a real community on this lane, which makes the work more pleasant.
